In the framework of European Optimised Microturbine Solar Power system (OMSoP) project, a novel energy for solar electricity production was developed, based on integration dish technology with Micro Gas Turbines (MGT). A pilot plant capacity 5–7 kWe realized and installed at ENEA Casaccia site (Rome) went under testing to validate feasibility improve current design.
